Bridgeland is a masterfully planned community of 11,400 acres in northwest Houston. Once complete, it will boast 20,000 homes for 65,000 residents. Developers have created a haven for nature enthusiasts with more than 3,000 acres devoted to lakes, trails and open space - all while offering stately homes priced from $230,000 to $1 million+.
A hub for the community is Lakeland Activity Center, which includes tennis courts, a resort-style pool, spray pad, playground, fitness center and a 6,000-square-foot community center. Residents also enjoy a disc golf course, concerts and movies at the Festival Park stage pavilion, Tree House Park and Lakeland Village Park’s basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, dog park, skate park, heated lap pool, spray park and kayak launch. Additional amenities include 60 miles of interconnecting trails, 400 acres of parks, 900 acres of lakes, the Cypress Creek Nature Trail, catch-and-release fishing and complimentary use of canoes, kayaks and other recreation equipment. An on-site activities director also maintains a packed calendar of classes, kids' camps and special events such as a monthly farmers market.
Students are zoned to the acclaimed Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. A multi-school educational village that’s under construction now will offer 1-million square-feet of learning space for 6,000 students throughout four-story Bridgeland High School, a three-story middle school and a two-story elementary campus.
For these reasons, Bridgeland was recognized as the 2016 Developer of the Year by the Texas Association of Builders.
