The success of our region relies on a growing higher education system providing equitable access to advanced learning and skill-building, essential for our community’s workforce needs. The West Houston region highlights a handful of two-year community colleges and four-year universities, the University of Houston at Katy, Houston Community College, University of Houston-Victoria at Katy and the nearby Lone Star College System along with Texas State Technical College.
