The day was filled with smiles, thanks and warm wishes as we officially cut the ribbon and opened the doors to Amazing Place West, our second location, on September 10th!
The morning began with Board President Cathy Stubbs welcoming the more than 150 guests who gathered for the dedication ceremony and with The Rev. Dr. Tom Pace from St. Luke’s United Methodist, our founding church, providing a bit of history and an invocation before turning it over to Amazing Place leadership for brief remarks. Thanks to the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce, who then helped us formally opened our second campus with a snip of the scissors!
“Amazing Place West is a testament to years of vision, hard work, and faith from so many of our supporters over the last several years,” says Executive Director Tracey Brown. “Our leadership has been phenomenal, and the gifts of time, talent and treasure we have received mean everything to the families and individuals we serve. We are blessed indeed.”
In the afternoon, an open house provided a showcase for the public to come and tour our 19,000 square foot facility on the more than 2-acre campus and visit with our dementia and brain health experts. View Photos
"This day would not be possible without all of you," says Board President Cathy Stubbs. "Today, we celebrate not just a new building, but an expanded mission of hope, compassion, and brain health for families across our community." |
